Since its foundation in 2004, Bases has organized three international conferences, always partnering with prestigious universities. In 2004 we organized the International Philosophy Conference “Karl Popper: permanence and transformation of his thought” at the School of Humanities and Arts of the National University of Rosario. In 2006 and 2008 we organized the first and second International Conference “The Austrian School of Economics in the 21st Century”, at the Chancellor's Goverment Building of the National University of Rosario (UNR).

For every conference an Academic Review Committee, comprised by renowned scholars, is responsible for the assessment and acceptance of the submitted material.

Our previous conferences have had outstanding scholars as Keynote Speakers, such as: David Miller (UK); Mark Notturno (USA); Gustavo Caponi (Brazil); Richard Ebeling (USA); Julio de León Barbero (Guatemala); Giampaolo Garzarelli (Italy); Guido Hülsmann (Germany) and Calvin Hayes (Canada). Moreover, one third of the speakers at our previous conferences were international.
